All-American Performer

LOUISBURG, NC – Hurricane baseball player Cedric Mullins has added to his long list of awards for 2014 as he now adds a 2014 NJCAA All-American honor to the list. The All-Am nod tops off a year where he was also the Region X Player of the Year and Louisburg College Male Student Athlete of the Year.

The Snellville, Georgia native was an offensive force as he led the team in batting average (.417), doubles (14), triples (5) and homeruns (7). He also showed some foot speed leading the Canes on the base paths with 27 stolen bases. The sophomore centerfielder used that speed every day in the outfield where he had a fielding percentage of .983, had eight long distance assists and made numerous highlight film catches.

Mullins will take his athletic talent and perfect 4.0 GPA to Buies Creek, NC next year as he suits up for the Fighting Camels of Campbell University.
