LOUISBURG, NC – The 2012-13 school year stars in just over a week but the Louisburg College fall athletic teams arrived on campus Monday afternoon to check in and get ready for another successful year.

Four Hurricane teams arrived on campus to kick off their preseasons as football, men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball players moved into their dorm rooms and sized up their teammates and coaching staffs.

Teams will begin meetings and practice immediately with scrimmages and games commencing in less than a week. The Hurricane men's soccer team will play their first scrimmage in five days on August 18^th, followed by the women's soccer team as they scrimmage on the 21^st. Football will play their only preseason scrimmage a day later on the 22^nd while the volleyball jumps right into conference play on the 24^th.
