2012 will be Coach Neagu’s first as the Hurricanes' head coach but he has plenty of coaching experience as he has roamed the sidelines at the professional, collegiate and elite club levels.

During his five year professional playing career, Neagu also spent time on a pair of college coaching staffs as he coached at Bryant & Stratton College (Syracuse, New York) and Virginia Commonwealth University. Cristian also brings a wealth of experience at the professional and club level as he has held numerous coaching and administrative positions in Virginia and the District of Columbia. Neagu currently holds a USSF “A” license and is working on his UEFA “A” license.

As a player, Neagu earned NJCAA All-American honors at Bryant & Stratton where he led the Bobcats to a National Championship before heading to VCU where he led the Rams to a pair of Colonial League titles.
