'Canes Gain First Ever All-Americans at NJCAA Outdoor Nationals in Louisburg College's inaugural outdoor track season culminating at the NJCAA championships.

Sophomore Jack Mastandrea and Freshman Kyle Hinson were the first in program history to get All American in outdoor by placing 6th and 8th in the 10,000 meter run. After leading for much of the strategic race, the duo kicked to finish in top 8 scoring position to give Louisburg 4 points. Mastandrea then doubled back to get 10th in the 5k with a strong finish to run 442 in the last mile. At the completion of the meet, Mastandrea solidified himself as the programs most decorated runner ever as a 2x Region champ XC, 2x All American Xc and 3x Track All American.

Zach Boyers became Louisburg colleges first ever to become All-American in a field event and secured Atlantic field athlete of the year. He finished 8th overall with a 1/2 meter personal best of 16.05 to give Louisburg another point. The Cane's finished day 2 in 16th place.

Finally Frosh Chancey Gunnell put together solid races to get her first experience at the national level and run a near personal best in the 200, running 25.88.
