Game Three
Louisburg 5      Aiken Tech 2

Sunday's first game was a near flawless effort for the 'Canes as they picked up their only win of the weekend, 5-2. Hockaday returned to the circle where she earned the complete game win. Through seven innings the lefty allowed two runs, one earned, on six hits.

Outfielder, Katrina Bartlett (Greensboro, NC) provided all of the Hurricanes offense as she went 2-3, hit a double and a homerun, and drove in all five Hurricane runs. Maci Burns and Emily Mercer (Raleigh, NC) also chipped in with a pair of hits each.

Game Four
Louisburg 0     Aiken Tech 2

It took ten innings to decide the series finale, which went 2-0 to Aiken Tech. The 'Canes threatened in the ninth but couldn't plate a run with bases loaded and one out before ATC hit a two run homer in the top of the 10th. Traci Bridgers threw 9.2 innings in the loss, before giving way to Megan Thompson who got the final out in the circle.

The Hurricanes only managed three hits in the loss, but threatened to score in the game's final three innings.

The Lady Hurricanes will hit the road on Wednesday as they travel to Elizabeth City for a nonconference twin bill at College of The Albemarle. Opening pitch is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
