Softball

Erin joins the Hurricanes softball coaching staff after completing her college playing career in the spring of 2012. While playing for the Lady Blues of Illinois College, Rutledge was a two way player as she was a starting pitcher and a utility player.

In her 2012 senior season, Rutledge earned Midwest Conference South Division Pitcher of the Year and was named to the All-Midwest Conference South Division Team as a pitcher. Erin also earned a pair of MWC Pitcher of the Week honors during her final year with the Lady Blues.

Coach Rutledge’s primary duties will be to train and coach the Canes’ pitching staff but she will also assist with all on-field and team administrative duties.
