Bio
Sarah Purvis will be joining the Coaching Staff from
Georgia Southern University. Purvis was a standout pitcher at
Georgia Southern where she was named SoCon Pitcher of the Year for
three straight years. Purvis is from Warner Robins, Georgia.
Sarah Purvis will be bringing a lot to the table and will help to
assist in all aspects of the game. The program looks forward to
bringing Sarah Purvis on and hopes that it will lead to a
successful season this Spring.

As a Senior at Georgia Southern University Purvis picked up NFCA
All-Region and First Team All-SoCon honors for third-straight
season. She went 20-13 in 34 appearances and 32 game starts, posted
a 1.79 ERA in 215.2 innings of work, struck out a single-season
school record 288 batters, and added three more no-hitters in 2014
to finish career with six. She set a new school record with a 37.0
inning scoreless streak between February 16th and March 9th, tossed
10 shutouts in the season, and held opposing batters to a .178
average.
