NEW ORLEANS, LA – Louisburg College guard Olivia Gaines (Chester, SC, Chester HS) led the Lady 'Canes to a national title just a few weeks ago and now she has added to her impressive basketball resume as she was tabbed as the 2013 State Farm/Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Player of the Year.

The WBCA honored Gaines as the top player in all of junior college and she joins a small group of five players who were honored as the best at the NCAA Division I, II, II and NAIA.
