The awards keep coming for the Lady 'Canes basketball team as Olivia Gaines (Chester, SC, Chester HS) and Justin Taylor (Gastonia, NA/Ashbrook HS) have been named to the 2013 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-America Team.

Gaines wrapped up the 2012-13 season with a scoring average of 18.6 points per game to go along with her 6.0 rebounds per game. The guard also dished out 2.4 assists and made 2.5 steals.  

Taylor also lit up the scoreboard as she averaged 15.5 through the championship season. The sophomore guard also hit for 89 percent from the charity stripe, dished out 2.3 assists per game and averaged a pair of steals per contest.

The Lady 'Canes finished their 2012-13 season with a record of 32-3 and earned the program's third national title.
