LOUISBURG, NC – The Hurricanes football team has advanced in the NJCAA Top 20 poll as they moved up seven spots to #8.

Last week, the #15 Hurricanes played in the Northeast Football Conference's game of the week, on Saturday, where they defeated Lackawanna College who was in at #17. The 24-22 win was good enough to send the Hurricanes up in the poll and knock Lackawanna out of the Top 20.

The 4-0 Canes will host the 3-1 Bulldogs of Dean College this Saturday as part of the 2012 Homecoming celebration. Kickoff at Louisburg High School is scheduled for 11:00 am.
