LOUISBURG, NC –For the third time this year, Hurricanes kicker Ryan Samuels has been named Northeast Football Conference, Special Teams Player of the Week.

The freshman kicker/punter from Fredericksburg, VA made three field goals and three extra points in the Hurricanes' win over Hudson Valley CC. Samuels made field goals from 41, 42, and 43 yards in addition to placing three punts inside the opponents' 20-yard line. He averaged 37.6 yards per punt, while making seven punts, with a long of 54 yards. He also had two touchbacks in six kickoffs.

The #16 Hurricanes will travel to New York to take on #6 Nassau CC next Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for noon, in the Northeast Football Conference game.
