LOUISBURG, NC – The #1 Louisburg College men's basketball team improved to 6-0 in Region X with a 112-65 win over Johnston CC, Saturday afternoon.

Louisburg had the game under control by halftime but the 'Canes stepped things up after the break outscoring JCC, 63-34, in the second frame. Terence Christian (Albemarle, NC/Albemarle HS) led all scorers with a 24 point performance. The freshman forward also pulled down seven rebounds. 

Sophomore guard, Paul Stone (Danville, VA/Dan River HS) had a great all-around effort as he scored 13 points, swiped seven boards and dished out six assists in the conference win. Michah Parker (Woodbridge, VA/Hylton HS) shot the ball well from long distance as he went 4-4 from beyond the arc, scoring 15 total points.

The 18-0 Hurricanes will play another road conference game on Wednesday when they travel to Wentworth, NC to take on Rockingham CC. Opening tip in the Region X game is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
