LOUISBURG, NC – The #1 Louisburg College men's basketball team had their best offensive performance of the season, Wednesday night, as they dominated Rockingham CC, 132-80, in a Region X contest.

The Hurricanes went in the halftime break with a 58-42 lead but really poured things on in the second half as they outscored the Eagles 74-38. LaShawn Alexander (Norfolk, VA/Booker T. Washington HS) led the 'Canes with a 22 point performance which was just ahead of Kevin Williams (Franklinton, NC/Franklinton HS) who helped out with 21. Antonio Robinson (Winston Salem, NC/Parkland HS) finished up just behind his two teammates as he scored 20 points in the conference win.

The 19-0, 7-0 in Region X, Hurricanes will return home to the Taylor Center on Saturday where they will host Catawba Valley CC in a Region X contest. Opening tip is scheduled for 3:00 pm.
