WINTERVILLE, NC – The Louisburg College men's basketball team defeated a hot Pitt CC, 102-79, in a road Region X game, Saturday afternoon. LC outscored the Bulldogs 50-35 in the first half and the two teams had a closer second period with LC again outscoring PCC, 52-44.

Five Hurricanes chipped in with double-digit scoring efforts. Paul Stone (Danville, VA/Dan River HS) led the way with 20, while Kevin Williams (Franklinton, NC/Franklinton HS) was next with 18. Joe Goodwin (Norfolk, VA/Bethel HS) and Antonio Robinson (Winston Salem, NC/Parkland HS) each scored a dozen and Tyquan Roberts (Greensboro, NC/Ragsdale HS) was the final double digit scorer as he dropped ten.

The 23-1 Hurricanes will travel to #17 Wake Tech CC on Wednesday as LC looks to avenge their only loss of the season. Opening tip in Raleigh is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
