LOUISBURG, NC – The #2 Louisburg College men's basketball team got it done at both ends of the court, Wednesday night, as they easily handled Guilford Tech CC, 118-67, in a Region X contest. The Hurricanes took a 60-24 lead in to the break and didn't let up in the second half as they outscored the Titans 58-43 in the second period.   

Sophomores, Paul Stone (Danville, VA/Dan River HS) and Terence Christian (Albemarle, NC/Albemarle HS) led the way as Stone scored 20 total points while Christian chipped in with 17. Stone also dished out four assists and Christain swiped eight boards. Guard, Micah Parker (Woodbridge, VA/Hylton HS) also hit for double-digits as he scored 13 in the conference win.

The 'Canes shot an amazing 10-21 from three point range. Kadarius Turner (Atlanta, GA/Southwest Dekalb HS) and Kevin Williams (Franklinton, NC/Franklinton HS) set up the high powered attack as they each had seven assists.

The Hurricanes will play another home conference game on Saturday when they host Pitt CC in the Taylor Center. Opening tip in the Region X game is scheduled for 3:00 pm.
