MELBOURNE, FL —The #14 Louisburg College men's soccer team's season came to an end Saturday afternoon as the Canes were defeated, 1-0, in the Southeast District playoff game.

#6 Eastern Florida State College scored the only goal of the game, midway through the second half, which came off of a corner kick. LC poured the pressure on throughout the second half but they couldn't find the back of the net in the championship game.

The Titans outshot the Hurricanes 9-7 and LC keeper, Brian Howard (Roanoke Rapids, NC/Roanoke Rapids HS) did well making four saves.

Eastern Florida advances to the NJCAA National Tournament, November 18-23, in Tyler, Texas and the Canes wrap up the season with a final record of 12-7-1.
