RALEIGH, NC – The #8 Louisburg College women's basketball team played their final road game of the 2012-13 season where they defeated Wake Tech CC, 80-60 in Region X play. The win ups the 'Canes overall record to 25-2, 12-1 in conference.

Three 'Canes finished with double-digit scoring efforts, with Olivia Gaines (Chester, SC/Chester HS) leading the way at 20 total points. Latrice Phelps (Virginia Beach, VA/Tallwood HS) was next on the score sheet with 12, which was just ahead of Jazmine Parker's (Burlington, NC/Oak Ridge Military) 11 point effort.

The Hurricanes will play their final regular season game on Saturday when they host #4 Catawaba Valley CC in the Taylor Center. Opening tip in the Region X contest is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
