LOUISBURG, NC – The #11 seeded Lady 'Canes soccer team will open up NJCAA National Tournament play on Monday when they take on #2 seed, Paradise Valley CC (Arizona). In addition to the tournament seeding, the 'Canes also landed on today's NJCAA Top 20 poll at the #17 spot. The ranking is Louisburg's first this season.

The 'Canes will arrive in Melbourne, Florida with a record of 13-6, while PVCC sits at 19-0-1. LC will look to continue with their solid team defense and an offense that is led by one of the NJCAA's most prolific scorers, Jessica Scales (Roanoke Rapids, NC). During their 2012 playoff run, the Hurricanes have outscored their opponents 12-1.
