Bio
Bryce Myers enters his third season with the Hurricanes baseball program. He has served as the program’s recruiting coordinator and work extensively with hitters, infielders, and outfielders across all levels of the team.
Myers comes to Louisburg after spending two years as an assistant coach at Bryant & Stratton College, where he worked primarily with hitters and oversaw the development of the outfielders.
A former Hurricane himself, Myers played at Louisburg College during the 2016 season. That year, he hit .310 with 34 RBI and 51 runs scored, adding 17 doubles, a triple, and six home runs over 53 games. He began his collegiate career at Coastal Carolina (2014, redshirt) before transferring to Lake-Sumter State College (2015). After his standout season at Louisburg, Myers went on to play two seasons at Campbell University. As a redshirt senior, he started all 61 games in center field, tallying 46 hits, nine doubles, a triple, and six home runs while driving in 34 runs. He ranked second on the team in RBI, posted a .368 slugging percentage, and committed just three errors defensively. His senior year also featured his first multi-home run game, hitting two against Bowling Green on March 4.
Myers was a decorated multi-sport athlete at Greenbrier Christian Academy. On the diamond, he was a Division II First Team All-State selection and a two-time All-Tidewater Conference honoree, earning first team recognition as a senior. He helped lead his team to three consecutive state playoff appearances, including a run to the championship game as a senior. That same year, he batted .410 with 21 stolen bases after hitting .380 with 16 stolen bases as a junior. On the football field, he was also recognized as a First Team Division IV All-State defensive back and a Second Team All-State wide receiver.
Myers brings both playing and coaching experience back to Louisburg College as he helps lead the Hurricanes into the future.
