THE OFFICAL HOME OF LOUISBURG COLLEGE ATHLETICS

Ashley Lane was named head cheerleading coach at Louisburg College in June 2019.

 

“Coaching at the college level has always been a goal of mine and I’m ecstatic about the opportunity," said Lane. "I have found coaching to be much more than teaching an athlete a skill. I take pride in having the opportunity to help student-athletes not only succeed in the sport but in everyday life experiences. Louisburg College brings a sense of family, and I urge all to come out and support our Hurricane athletics!” 

 

Since graduating from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where she was a cheerleader, Lane has developed several cheer programs. Lane has coached not only local teams but teams across the states while working with Premiere Cheer located in Murray, Kentucky and the All American Citrus Bowl Half-Time Show in Orlando, Florida. Lane has choreographed game-day performances and competition routines that have received first place titles at Pre-States, States, and National Competitions.

 

Lane is a member of the North Carolina Cheerleading Coaches Association. She received her Bachelors in Sports Management from North Carolina State University and her Master of Arts in Physical Education and Health from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Lane is a native of Wilson, NC however resides in Pine Level, NC with her fiancé Nick.
