RALEIGH, NC – The Louisburg College golf team hit the links Tuesday afternoon as they attended an event hosted by Wake Tech Community College at the Eagle Ridge Golf Course in Raleigh. The Hurricanes finished third as a team with a combined score of 316 which was 22 shots behind tournament winners Sandhills CC.

 Freshman, Sumner Tate (Raleigh, NC) was the top finisher for the Canes as he shot a 75 on the par 71 course. Zach Robins (Southern Shores, NC) shot a solid 78 which was just ahead of Ty Niday (Lexington, NC) who finished with a 79.  

 Juan Fernandez (Panama), Devin Herring (Castilla, NC), and Clay Boerner (Statesboro, GA) all shot 84 at the Raleigh course.
