March 27-29, 2015, 44th Annual Marine Federal Credit Union Intercollegiate Golf Tournament sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune, NC:

The Hurricanes competed in the prestigious 54-hole (3 rounds) Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate Golf Tournament against 25 major NCAA and 4 other NJCAA golf teams this past weekend.  The weather was unexpectedly cold and windy with pouring rain for two of the rounds along with a 31 degrees at tee time to begin the final round.  In spite of the weather, the Hurricane golfers finished as a team in 14th place.  Representing Louisburg College was Evan Sauer (Raleigh, NC), Devin Herring (Castalia, NC), Patrick Yang (Maiden, NC) Daniel Hammond (Ft. Lauderdale, FL), and Justin Stallings (Louisburg, NC).

The next tournament for the Hurricanes will be the Anderson Creek Spring Invitational sponsored by Central Carolina Community College onApril 6-7 in Spring Lake, NC.
