Hurricanes Roll to 4–0 Victory Over Cape Fear
LOUISBURG, N.C. — The Louisburg College men's soccer team delivered a commanding performance on Wednesday, blanking Cape Fear Community College 4–0 behind a relentless attack and a balanced scoring effort.
First Half
The breakthrough came with 23:05 remaining in the first half, when sophomore winger Boni Salinas slipped a perfect pass through the defense to freshman striker Eriya Ndinayo, who beat the keeper to the ball and slotted it home for a 1–0 lead.
Just 10 minutes later, with 13:56 left in the half, Ndinayo created another chance. Pressuring the defense, he stole the ball just outside the box and quickly found freshman forward Jaden Hilliard, who finished cleanly to double the Hurricanes' advantage heading into halftime.
Second Half
Louisburg didn't let up after the break. With 22:32 remaining, Salinas stood over a direct free kick just outside the penalty area and delivered a brilliant strike that bent past the wall and into the net to make it 3–0.
The Hurricanes capped the scoring less than four minutes later. Hilliard surged up the right side and fired a hard shot at the Cape Fear keeper. The rebound fell to Ndinayo, who split two defenders and calmly put away his second goal of the day to seal the 4–0 victory.
