The Louisburg College Women's Soccer team tied 0-0 at home against Richard Bland College in their first meeting of the season. This was the Hurricanes' second game of the year and their first against a Region 10 opponent. Louisburg goes 0-0-1 in conference play and 0-1-1 overall.

Sophomore Kadence Miller kept the shutout for the Hurricanes with 7 saves in 90 minutes of play. Freshman Martha Carmona de la Rosa registered two shots in the game with one shot on goal.

"This was a hard-fought draw for us," said Coach Fresco, "we had several players sidelined during the game because of injuries, but everyone came together to help with the result."

The next game is home to Cape Fear Community College on Wednesday in Region 10 play.
